With the move above 2084 in early trade yesterday, a cover of the short position would be pragmatic.

S/T BUY Signal at the close at 2087

The caveat is that with the current congestion and the lack of a T structure, this may be the end-game of the January T structure in which case we may only get a few days of upside.

The market is coiling and the result will likely be a large move +/- 100 points.

S/T Sell signal with close below 2083.
L/T Sell Signal if staying below 2083.
OSC Buy Signal now in doubt.

Expect a short term bounce after such a heavy selloff yesterday, and if so this should provide a better short entry.

Failure of 2089 on friday generates a Short Term Sell signal, and an OSC Sell Signal and an L/T Sell Signal at the close.
Expect an overnight bounce, and watch for any strength above 2098 for change back to long.

Looks like we did get a S/T Buy Signal at the close 2021.

Bit of a close call but the afternoon push certianly looks that way.

Yesterday's action generates a Short Term Sell Signal at the close, if not earlier.Note the failure at the critical 2040 level in late afternoon.

Late day recovery above 2012 generates an S/T Buy Signal.

Tentative because we are just below the 55 Ema, and the T structure looks likely to expire 27-30 January.

A failed Buy Signal yesterday re-confirms the previous Sell Short Signal.
L/T Sell Signal generated at close at 2023.

Reminder: when the OSC is not confirming it may be safer to stay out / remain neutral.

Also Short Alert (8<21) and T vol oscillator were not confirming the Buy Signal.

Looks like the market may be in trouble.
