S&P500 daily update

A strong push higher in morning action triggering a Cover Short Signal at 4391 and making a spike high at 4411 before dropping back into the 2 pm FED meeting. The usual explosive volatility with a couple of very brief looks just above the Buy Signal line at 4413 before dropping back into the close.

A bullish day with the expected volatility surrounding the FED announcement and conference call, but not quite enough to confirm an S/T Buy Signal.

A push higher from the overnight gap into 4394 is met with strong selling into a low at 4450 and followed by an attempt to recover into 4385, another drop into 4353 and subsequently back up into 4375 before dropping back quickly into the close.

A huge drop is met with initial buying which quickly fades and is met with persistent selling until reaching a late afternoon low at 4306 and a last half hour of urgent buying and short-covering.

The previous S/T Sell Signal is cancelled at 4460 and continued strength above 4482 triggers a brief S/T Buy Signal before dropping back slightly into the close.

Early selling is met with very strong buying into 4457, followed by choppy consolidation and eventually leading to a breakout above 4460 cancelling the previous Sell Signal.

A Cover Short Signal at 4460

Continued strength and a brief move above 4482 triggers an S/T Buy Signal in late afternoon action but this is unsustained and unconfirmed with a drop back just below into the close.
