Market opens well below the Sell Signal line at 3785 making short entry difficult and high risk.

A drop into 3750 is met with strong buying but fades at 3776 and quickly moves lower eventually finding buyers at 3695-6 for a choppy recovery to 3740.

COVER Signal below 3821

A very bullish morning quickly cancelling yesterday's Sell Signal with strong buying from the open up through yesterday's highs and above the Buy Signal line at 3821 reaching 3829 and re-testing 3830 before fading and dropping back below the Buy Signal line stopping at breakeven and ultimately dropping back below 3800.

Too much too quickly or a 'rescue operation'.

S/T Sell Signal at 3781

A huge gap down below the Buy / Cover Signal line, no bounce and quickly triggering a Sell Signal at 3781.

A bounce off 3768 stops the Sell Signal at breakeven and the market heads back to the open price of 3813 before taking another look at the morning low triggering another Sell Signal.

The morning low holds and stops the Sell Signal at breakeven again for a bounce to 3800 before heading lower again triggering another Sell Signal at 3781 and seeing 3733 before bouncing a little into the close.

Sell Signal active but would recommend hedging against a recovery to lock in at least some of today's gains.

Market gaps up into the Buy Signal line at 3796, is met with profit-taking before finding buyers at 3780 and a grind up through the Buy Signal line. Not much follow thru but holding up above 3796 into the close.

Market opens below the Cover Signal level at 3787. An initial move up to 3787 is quickly sold into triggering a Cover at 3783 with a rapid move lower before finding support at 3750 for a volatile recovery back to the breakdown level before a choppy afternoon takes the market lower into the close.

Very strong buying up through the Buy Signal line at 3732 to all time highs and a grind into 3780 before heavy selling initiates a volatile decline in afternoon action.

COVER Signal at 3723

Welcome to 2021 with a gap and crap and selling from the getco.

A rapid decline through the Cover Signal line at 3723 and an initial strong bounce just above the Sell Signal line is met with further selling triggering a Sell Signal below 3690 and into a low at 3666 before stabilizing.

Buying back to 3700 is met with chop and eventually buying and short covering into the close, cancelling the Sell Signal at breakeven

A Wild Day on Wall Street

A huge gap down well below the Cover Signal level. Cover stop below initial bounce (at 3672).
A Short Signal at 3654 sees 3640 for a bounce and then strength back up through 3654 cancelling the Sell Signal.
Continuing strength above the Cover Short line at 3668 and above the morning highs eventually targeting a full recovery above the Buy Signal line and yesterday's late afternoon trapped buyers.
A successful Rescue Operation.
