A gap up into a volatile morning session and a strong push higher, triggering a Cover Short Signal at 4649 and making a high at 4672, just triggering an S/T Buy Signal before dropping back.

Market closing at 4655

A gap up into 4650 and a very choppy decline into 4626 before strong buying and a rapid move higher to touch the Buy Signal line at 4672. No follow through and chopping sideways before dropping back into the close.

A Cover Short Signal at 4649 and an unconfirmed Buy Signal at 4672 with no follow through.

An overnight collapse and well below the Cover and Sell Signal lines, making covering the long position and entering short difficult (and higher risk) – unless actioned in the Futures market much earlier.

Very volatile and panicky action exacerbated by low participation due to the the half day holiday.

Origin

Some follow through to Monday's selling but recovering into the close.

An initial sharp recovery to 4699 is sold into and the market drops below the Cover Signal line.

The market finds support just below 4658, chops sideways and then finds strength in the afternoon for a recovery back above the Cover Signal line and re-activates the Buy Signal.

Market closing at 4690

An initial push higher into 4699 is sold into and the market drops through the Cover Signal Line at 4678.

The market finds support at 4658 and then chops sideways in between 4658 and 4678 until breaking higher in late afternoon action and re-activating the Buy Signal.

An exuberant push higher in early action reaches 4742 before collapsing back to 4700.

An afternoon grind back up to 4730 is then sold into the close, stopping just above the Cover Signal line.

An important reversal at a projection for a high.
